What should i bring

Bring what you would to a day at the park.

  • sunscreen

  • blanket

  • food (garlic bread?)

  • beverages

  • sun hat

  • playing cards, a frisbee, yarn

Where is the event?

The event location is located on Partiful once you successfully RSVP

What ages are welcome at this event?

This is a public all-ages event. I cannot control the attendees any more than I can control anyone is public so use appropriate caution

What is the parking situation?

The park has NO public parking. Please plan to take public transportation or park nearby and walk in. The walk is at least 5 minutes from where you park.

Is there a heating source to cook the garlic bread?

The park is currently undergoing some construction in which park grills may be installed. I have some charcoal and cooking utensils I can loan you if so. I invite you to bring your own camp grill but please look at the Parks department rules for what is allowed. 

IS this event open to everyone?

This is an event focused on finding friends within the queer community. All members of the queer community are welcome (not just the gay ones lol)

If you are not part of the queer community and want to come I ask that you attend a different event unless your queer friend or partner is bringing you along. 

Will there be garlic bread?

There will be MUCH garlic bread but I will not be providing any. This is a BYOGB event but in previous years, there has been a lot shared by attendees. I will likely have some free beverages and I am looking into inviting a food truck to the event.
